In Four Faces West, Charles Bickford plays Pat Garrett tailing Joel McCrea's friendly bandit* Eugene Manlove Rhodes, who wrote the film's source novel Pasó por aquí, actually knew Garrett & unsurprisingly, his portrayal of Pat is more accurate than the film's *not Billy the Kid
