The world is awful, so I am growing things (houseplants). I have the opposite of a green thumb, so keeping ten plants alive is a high level stress situation. I don't care if they're supposed to be hardy, I once killed a snake plant (by overwaterin it, ironically...) and still feel guilty. Godspeed!

Some folks do not seem to realize that while the tech industry relies disproportionately on H1Bs, this will most painfully affect other sectors that work with H1B visas, too, and will not be able to afford the fee, e.g., higher ed, nonprofits, NGOs, and healthcare. Please keep that in mind.
