"Highly Sensitive Person" or HSP was coined by an individual in 1996, almost 30 years ago, during an era when the concept of Autism was much more limited. By modern standards, HSP describes an Autistic person. (and apparently the individuals that HSP was based on where later diagnosed with ASD)
