Mark Carney gave an excellent speech today in Davos. I fully support his point that medium powers have much to gain by working together, and have argued as such for national communications policy.

Another unfounded MAGA idea that I would argue has its roots among those who would identify as progressive. When I started researching 5G ten years ago the first question I would hear from colleagues was always about ill-founded health concerns.

I know Menzies means this as a critique but "an increasingly well-funded and dominant CBC" sounds pretty good to me the day after the Corporation for Public Broadcasting shut down in the U.S. There is nothing constructive in this piece.

As a proud Gen X'er, there is only one Grinch, the 1966 special with Boris Karloff. I asked my son why he torments me by preferring the newer Benedict Cumberbatch version. He said the new Grinch treats his dog better. Upon reflection, the boy has a point: Chuck Jones did not spare the whip in 1966.
