Reposting for daytime Bluesky. I crunched the numbers on CBC's Winter Games Opening Ceremonies broadcast and counted over 15 minutes of ads in the first hour. A full third of the 40-minute artistic section before the athletes entered was blocked by ads.

Very sorry to hear this. Kirsty and I were in the same class in grade 7 and 8. Kirsty was smart and generous at Dixon Grove Middle School and Canada was fortunate to have her in parliament.
