Why "eat the rich" when the Fed creates money for free? Shouldn't you be pressuring them to just give everyone money and solve all our problems? Get off the streets and pay off our healthcare bills? Why collect taxes at all when they can just conjure money into existence like they already do now?

What I'm trying to convey to people by talking about this stuff so much is that power goes back to the people when you own money that no government can arbitrarily inflate away. Money is an abstract form of your finite time and energy. If they can inflate away the money, they are diluting your life.

Think of the dollar (and any fiat currency) as a measuring stick. It's a ruler used to measure things like products and services (price) Let's say we use a ruler to measure a house. The house is 20 feet tall. Over a few years, the ruler becomes physically smaller, yet still counts up to 12 inches...

Man, the longer things play out the way I knew they would, the more stressed out I get for my friends :(

Case in point: the dollar has LOST value by 10% THIS YEAR. Why are you working for melting ice cubes?

Do furries understand that the money you work hard for, at jobs you may or may not hate, is legit designed to lose value? That inflation is baked into the cake? Because it's nothing but a piece of paper or numbers on a screen with nothing stopping those in power to create more of it out of thin air?
