This is the first east coast sunrise I have seen in 10 days, after having been out of state.

We had dinner at Seacrets tonight, taking advantage of their half off, off-season specials on their entrees. Bonnie had brown stew chicken, and I had the shrimp and scallops in a roasted red pepper cream sauce with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. Both were great! I allowed myself a pale ale.

Fun fact, I spent a few hours driving around Northern California in 1999 with Leon, star of the movie Cool Runnings. Just me and him up in redwood country. My past life was much more exciting than my current life. Though I do love being by the ocean.

My mother-in-law passed at 11:25 am this morning. We are still about 3 hours away due to the storm. A 13 hour trip is taking us about 24 hours. My wife is a wreck. At least we spent Thanksgiving with her mom this year.
