I've played...ten Commander games in the last 30 hours? Two casual Commander games last night, four cEDH swiss rounds this afternoon, four Artisan Commander games on Spelltable tonight. Game fun, brain tired.

Lost a game of Commander last night to a Jaxis player who cast Molten Primordial and made a copy of it with Jaxis, stealing my Arcades & The Pride of Hull Clade, another player's Aurelia the Warleader & Tymna and dealt over 50 damage to me. It was awesome.

Want to build more enjoyable, interesting decks? Come up with a fun idea, and look for a cmdr to best facilitate that idea instead of looking at a commander and doing the effortless, obvious thing it wants you to do.

To that end, the Judge Foundry Annual Meeting approaches, and with it, the elections for the board of directors and RAs (1/2)

PSA for Magic judges: You can add events you judge to your profile on JudgeApps. Go to My Events, then click on Add Event to Your History. It's a good way for TOs to see that you've been active, and it may prove useful to have when we go to the next iteration of the judge program. You never know.

How I feel about this preview season, having zero association with the Final Fantasy IP:

The strangest constituency in Magic are the folks who do not play cEDH, but think there is a "correct" way to build a casual commander deck. If you're already making concessions away from the top of the meta, either accept that objectivity isn't your goal or further define your metagame.
