#WeeklyWriters Part of it is that I am diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and I’m putting a lot of my own feelings and experiences into Felix! While everyone experiences anxiety differently, this is how at least one person experiences it!

For a start I'm disabled myself so my own experiences filter in. For instance, in a later story Steve will have a conversation which mirrors my own experiences. Besides that, most work in their communities which avoids the "just lazy" stereotype. #WeeknightWriters #WriteSky #Raven+Bear #shortstory

Early on into her recovery, Anna's injury leaves her trapped and dependent on people who mean her harm, and she loses autonomy in exchange for protection. Later on, she builds relationships with people through as they help her recover and through physical therapy. #WeeknightWriters

Both Steve and Sir Morgwyn fall under the role of mentor. Sir Morgwyn is literally a gentle giant meant to evoke figures like Bran the Blessed or Idris Gawr from Welsh Mythology. Steve's disability plays a more complex role later on in the story. #WeeknightWriters #Raven+Bear #Writesky #shortstory
