when it was leaked that the protagonist of veilguard is going to be called "rook" i thought it was a good name for a dwarf and since i had a concept for a female dwarf i thought "rooka". but that was too on the nose and also not fantasy enough, so i turned that into rukah.

well, i didn't really give it much thought until now but i guess my dwarf rook and bellara can be called "short history".

the thing is, i don't think how many copies the game would have sold would've matter. the firing yesterday was phase 2 of the firing started in 2023, they just waited for the rest of the team to finish the game. i legit believe that the firing would occur even if the game sold trillions of copies.
