I think my taste in games can best be describes by this contradiction; I enjoy open world games that use negative space for scale (Wind Waker, SOTC, Xenoblade). I will drop an action game if it makes me traverse empty levels even if the combat is good (DMC, Bayo 1, KH2). Just put me in a room FFS.

I finally got Marathon because of all the incredible wom. This was going to be the first GAAS I jumped into. But then I remembered that I need to pay for PS+ on PS5 and immediately got a refund. I'm honestly willing to bet that Fortnite not requiring PS+ is a major contributor to its success.

Every Dungeon in Majora's Mask is better than the best dungeon in Ocarina. In general, Ocarina's dungeon design is vastly overrated. Hell, even Wind Waker's dungeon design, though not consistently excellent, reaches higher highs than Ocarina's.

Unless my eye is wrong, that's not the only thing artificial about this game.

Replayed Zone of the Enders 2 and yup still great. Really feels like Titanfall 2 is its closest modern analogue in terms of pacing and variety and even that game is about to be 10 years old. This so called Konami Renaissance we're on won't really be earned until we get ZoE3.
