i will risk my non-existent game industry credibility to say that Disco Elysium was good but not great. the excellent writing and art style were constantly straining against and dampened by game mechanics, including the RNG. ultimately, i found the story compelling until the "that's it?!" ending.

the KX had a feed index error (not sure if it was me or the cam) and overlapped these shots. so, screw it, sprocket hole capture time! Pentax KX + 28mm/2.8 + Kodak Ultramax 400 pushed to 800 Ultramax +1 makes for some killer colors, but also crushes dark tones pretty quickly; maybe +2/3 instead.

i love to see others' work on Portfolio Days. i also hate that i don't really have professional work to contribute. i make: - UX flowcharts that wrangle complex systems into usable features (no one cares about those) - UI that loses 20% of detail in prod - fun secret stuff that dies on the vine
