Christianity is a tale of competing myths, political power, & suppression of religious plurality. What distinguished Christianity wasn’t originality, but the eventual dominance of one narrative, facilitated by the rise of Imperial support. There wasn’t one unified story of Jesus; there were many!

Secularism is the only safeguard for both freedom of and Freedom from religion. It faces fierce opposition because it threatens the privileges religion has enjoyed for far too long!

Sin Teaching children they’re born sinful erodes their self-worth, engenders guilt instead of growth & hands control to those claiming to have the ‘cure’. A healthy society tells children they are worthy, not broken. Let’s not poison our children’s minds, but teach them to think for themselves!

Eureka! Why is Atheism continuously attacked with accusations of lacking moral foundations? Because religious authorities rightly fear the truth: If morality exists outside religion (which of course it does), then religion becomes redundant. And indeed, religion IS redundant. Redundant & harmful!

That millions of people in the 21st century still believe in scriptural gods, like those of the Bible or Quran, says nothing about the gods themselves. It says everything about the ignorance humanity must overcome if we are ever to build a thriving, equitable society!

The Biblical Ten Commandments? The first four are all about a jealous, insecure deity demanding loyalty. Only later do we get to “don’t murder” or “don’t steal.” Imagine needing four rules just to flatter God! And that before caring about fellow humans! Shockingly stupid & immoral!
