Revisiting some older material and this paper came up again during a discussion about viral tools in avian retina. Our study was part of the Rising Stars in Avian Physiology collection and showed that AAV2 9 can reliably reach and transduce avian photoreceptors. More in thread below..

Another beauty that I came across during my #2-photon experiments is a Polyaxonal amacrine cell (PAC), a type of #interneuron in the #retina with multiple axon-like processes, said to play a crucial role in visual signal processing and modulation, particularly in the #IPL.
