Hegseth's speech is, essentially a declaration of war to the rest of the world. When Hitler did that, we had only, conventional warfare. The US and European allies prevailed as a much larger force. The major players, now are all pretty much equal. And then there is that crazy one. Us!

I suspect that China, and maybe Saudi Arabia will have the last word on this. I don't think we realize how the rest of the world, except maybe North Korea, can't wait for us to collapse. One can see that in Putin's eyes.

Gotta wonder what this is going to look like in three years. I guess we are all going crazy at once.

While, I'm not from Mr. Fetterman's state, I felt he was a guy who's "been there" And so have I. One should believe that his perceived turn-about says he still has his demons. That's no damned excuse, Just an explanation.

"Stupid" where 47 is involved is not "mind blowing." It's to be what is expected. And people get paid to say this stuff?

When I see the word "demand", I ask myself, what does that mean. And how does one make that demand stick.

So what do we do with this knowledge? Be serious.

I realize that for most of the rest of the "civilized" world, the US looks like it's comprised of fucking fools. That describes about half of us. The task we "civilized" US citizens have now is to save the world, once again from Nazis. As our parents did.

I hope that I'm not the only one... Whenever I see the image of 47, or anyone associated,I try my best to minimize the number of brain cells I lose. Please show some restraint.

Somewhat disagree. Nixon was paranoid. 47 is just a plain evil person. And Reagan really started us down this path. With our help.
