Man, very glad to see someone having a conversation about fan games and fanwork that doesn't devolve into standard "So-and-so who threw a copyright strike are are just big ol meanies and should just hire these people".

One way we kinda glaze the past is we talk about how games released "complete" back in the day. This... was actually kind of a double-edged sword to be honest. Yeah on on hand you didn't have to wait for so many patches to download and have to wait for things to be "fixed".

Here's one thing I don't necessarily understand. ...why people think Pigeons are stupid. ...Uh... no they're not? Pigeons can actually recognise human faces, understand what a reflection is (Even corvids are known to attack their own reflections in a window!), and can easily map out territory.

So. Boxing Day is actually all about giving gift(s) to those less fortunate. ...it's since been taken more literally as "Put on a pair of boxing gloves and punch people. Especially you kangaroos". Well, @renegadekangaroo.bsky.social and I are more than willing to provide BOTH examples. ;)

One thing i have heard about "AI is not eliminating design jobs it id assisting them" So. I will admit I don't work in the art department, but it's not uncommon for some firms to reach out to the university to ask for job listing wanting artwork of some kind to art students.
