I've been told this joke doesn't land with my international audience. "Girls go to college, to get more knowledge. Boys go to Jupiter, to get more stupider." Common schoolchildren chant in the US. Trans guys, of course, use their aerospace degree to navigate and land the spaceship.

I'm a girl, so I went to college. But I was, at one point, a boy, so hopefully this degree gets me a job; I'm in debt after my trip to Jupiter.

Remember that in order for hatred to be multiplied, it must be engaged with. Don’t “dunk” on racist/transphoic takes - block them. Don’t entertain trolls and bad-faith individuals - block them. Don’t let the people assailing those you love encroach on YOUR space. Kick them out and lock the door.

I'm going with my original decision: pre-roll ads. I want to curate a space to attract folks like me: - I only want to deal with ads once, if ever. - I like low-energy spaces where the vibe is chill. - I want to get lost in the vibe without interruption. Min-maxing for retention just will not gel.
