Sharing this because I need to get over the imposter syndrome. I always think it must sound terrible when I sing or play my fiddle, especially at an open mic where the audience were just ignoring us, but actually having seen this, it’s not terrible, it’s almost verging on ok! 🎻🥁🎶🪕

Having some of today “off work” as I worked yesterday. Making a violin blanket for my second hand Bam case as it didn’t come with one. It’s an old travel towel doubled up with some sari fabric on the side that goes against my fiddle. 🎻

River Ring… 💍 A bespoke “River Ring” that I finished just before Christmas. 💎 It’s recycled and remodelled silver and 9ct yellow gold, based on a section of the river Wye, with the sapphire set in a special place.

“Trying” to tell the flu to fuck off. Just managed a 10 minute yoga practice for the first time in 2 weeks! 🧘‍♀️

Forgot to say Happy Solstice on here yesterday. Feels nice that every day will be a little bit longer for the next 6 months.

It’s amazing how stress can affect your physical body as well as mentally. Yesterday, something that had been hanging over me for months was removed…this morning…my daily 20 min yoga practice somehow just seemed easier. 🧘‍♀️

How come big companies can just do this?!? I couldn’t contact my past clients and say oh, sorry I didn’t charge you enough so I’m helping myself to a few more pounds from your bank account!!

Just finished… Ordered from my online shop (with a difference!). Client dropped off her little stash of old jewellery, I removed all the stones, melted down the gold and “re-made” it into a piece that she can enjoy wearing again. #bcorpgoldsmith #ethicaljewellery
