So the interesting thing about Nova schools trans policies is that #rva public schools need $40 million+ a year for building maintenance and only get $2.5 million and we're not the only Virginia school system in this position.

The state has accumulated a $5B tax surplus while squeezing local governments to cover the rising costs of (and need for) support staff. Your AP, your HVAC tech, your counselor, etc. They’re all working so much harder bc the state abdicated their responsibility to students and staff. 🪴

Effective 2:00pm today, City Hall is closed. Services offered in City Hall are also closed. However, other city locations and services continue. City Hall is currently dealing with a significant drop in water pressure. While the exact cause hasn’t been identified yet
