I want to apologize to anyone who noticed me disappear yesterday. I'm going through a significant health scare and was also told my sweet baby Hawthorne has about two weeks left. I broke under the hurt for a bit, but I'm alive and trying my best. Here's Hawthorne, whom I love with all my heart.

Knowing that I would be incapable of honestly looking younger me in the eyes and saying, "don't give up, things do get better" makes it pretty difficult to do the same while looking in the mirror...don't give up...don't give up...😞

I wanted to remind y'all who need to hear it: you're worth more than what your labor yields. You are worth more than what you can contribute to an economy. We work in order to live, not the other way around. If you are able to, you can take a break without feeling guilty for not being productive.
