I know I post about my feathery boys a lot but here's some reasons why you shouldn't get a birb: - they are good at hiding illnesses. You have to check so many things often just to notice If they're unwell - they're very messy. You'll forever be hoovering up seed casings

The two feather babys are settling in to their evening routines now and seem to be getting better sleep the last few nights! I've had to change a lot of my routine for these birbs but they're worth it all. Wouldn't be without my feather baby's

I might have just witnessed my first experience of hearing budgie gibberish from my birbs They seemed to be trying to mimic me a little bless They were also really focused on chatting back at me when I was telling them how much of a good boy they both are So precious!

Birbs are genuinely just absolute angels I swear. All my worries turned out to be unnecessary They're settling in really well, are the bestest of buds and already had Chomper step up on my finger a few times. Chompers actually become quite a brave boy Rex is a lil more shy at the mo bless him

Woke up to birbs chattering. Was so wholesome. then I played them some Disney songs. So far they love stitch and Moana songs. As well as bibitty boppity boo. After Hawaiian rollercoaster ride ended Rex kicked up high hell lol. How dare he music be stolen! Love them so much already 😋 #birb #bird

Got myself some herb seeds and some pots to grow them in for indoors! I noticed there's a few herbs birbs can eat and like so I'm going to focus on the bird safe ones first! Fresh herbs for birbs hehe. But there's also some I'll grow in the kitchen where birb can't go that aren't birb safe

Day however many of prepping stuff for my future budgies: Ordered some more natural wood perches. But this time some irregular more natural randomly formed branches As research has told me it'll help reduce chances of arthritis and bumblefoot. Since they aren't always gripping things the same way

Sadly, Charlie passed away yesterday morning. She hasn't been great for a while, as she was very old And after a night of cuddles and freedom and all of the love she could ask for, she decided to stop fighting and fly high once more. I'm thankful for the time we shared and she'll always be in my 💜

I still keep thinking I'm gunna wake up and Charlie coming here will have been a dream lol She's such a good birdy. Absolutely a velcro bird. Loves cuddles, head scratches and giving love nibbles She's settling in well. Check out my other post for pics and vids of her adorableness!!!🪶

I'm now a proud bird mum. Meet Charlie. My lil velcro #bird. She was rehomed to me this evening. And she enjoyed her first trip out of the cage! We had a lovely relax. She got to use me as a climbing frame and then got to have some good head tickles and cuddles. Now she's snoozing and settled again

I've been doing some pixel art recently but I can't share it yet Sadly I can't be more specific yet as it's not stuff for myself. Buttttt... I'm super excited! I'll share more about it when I'm able to. But will be a hot moment yet. Gunna try and work on some stuff soon that I can share lol
