Very cool new analysis! Due to the crazy data volume, standard data streams throw away >99.99% of collisions at the LHC But what if we didn't have to? For the first time CMS has performed a search using data processed on hardware in real time (40 million / sec) !

First post on BlueSky! I'm excited to give a seminar at #CERN tomorrow on 6 years of work developing a complete statistical framework for high-dimensional inference of the Higgs width. Simulation-based inference on actual collision data in ATLAS, profiling all systematic uncertainties!

Over time I have learned I have neither the stomach or interest in highly competitive / cut-throat research areas Whenever I meet people I like to be very open about the projects I am working on and ideas I have, while I have gradually learned this is not how everyone operates
