There’s an unctuousness at the heart of the BBC now — they clearly have a thing for extreme right-wingers and power — that I think most of us find distasteful.

They’ll all end up going - Mandelson and Reeves will join the procession before long - and we’ll end up just with Starmer and only then will it occur to some people that the party elected the wrong leader.
