Managed to find the short/ bad joint on my Star Force that was causing some sound issues. It's now working again. 👍 I remember buying this from Raven Games almost 20 years ago, do they still exist I wonder.

Finally completed Sakura Taisen 5 on the PS2. It becomes the only franchise other than Bio Hazard where I've completed the first 5 main line entries. (NB: I will not be playing 6)

It is my ambition to make a game on the beloved Vectrex so I have been learning about its tech and limitations recently. This video tells me what I know already but never the less very interesting.

I used to play Gals Panic at Game Zone in the early 90s just off Manchester Piccadilly station heading into town. I revisited the building when I was there this Summer, it is now a hotel/ restaurant. Me trying to explain to a staff member what an amusement arcade is. Old man doing strange things.

I watched Walter Day's new documentary, "Arcades & Love Songs". Didn't realise I was in it*. I almost fell off my chair. (* For 2 seconds). 😆

I beat Sakura Taisen 4. It rounds up the story nicely. As such, I'm hesitant on starting part 5. Might take a break and attend to some Switch games instead.

Lately I've been mostly playing the fan translated version of Sakura Taisen. I am reminded why I originally gave up on the Japanese version, they give you 5 seconds to answer questions. That's not enough time for any kind of educated guess work.

Just buying and playing the same games over and over again but on newer platforms. Repeat.

Annual Christmas Nights play through. I wonder how Yuji Naka's doing. 🤔

I bought Dhalsim by Jada Toys recently for £20 at Smyth's. The joints are really stiff but for what it's worth, a really fun figure to play with. 🤌
