Dreamt last night that Schmoopis showed up at home. I was freaked out because I knew she had died, but relieved that here she was again. Eventually I discovered that she was a spirit that required an orange cat, a black cat, and a tortoiseshell cat to be nearby in order to take form physically.

Last evening we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Schmoopis. Unbeknownst to us, she had been losing the fight against what the ER vet said was probably bone marrow cancer. She stayed with us as long as she could. She passed in my arms, loved and cuddled til the end. I will never get over her.

Ms. Schmoopis hasn’t been feeling great the last couple of days. No appetite, vomiting, and hiding. She must have slept under the bed last night because she emerged as I was getting up. Normally if she sleeps in my room it’s curled up by my head. Please send good vibes! #catsofbluesky #tortie
