The winter's been a little rough. Honestly the last couple year's worth of winters have been rough. I'm starting to see that whole "seasonal depression" thing has some teeth. But hey, it's warm out recently and that means I get to go outside and not be miserable. Staring at trees is good for you.

I generally find it tacky to celebrate the death of things. But seeing the announcements that SoraAI is giving up, and Disney is cancelling their agreements with Slop companies, microslop is pulling copilot out of parts of Win11, it makes me feel something that resembles joy I think.

Doing 2 conventions back to back was perhaps a little too much, while also working a lot of extra hours to make up for the time off I took for the first one. I want to say I'm just getting older, but I have never been all that active. For the first time in my life I'm trying to have outside fun.

Watch the video on kickstarter, I'm sold. I love the concept! Maybe we can evolve the concept to be a little more Magical Girly later on? For now I'd fund this. I love how modular they are!

This trip to TFcon LA in Burbank is a contender for worst con trip of my life. And to be clear, it was nothing the con could control. -2 actors I explicitly flew to California to meet were cancelled due to severe weather grounding flights. I did get one unintended autograph though 1/X

They announced FRLG ports right after I finished a play-through of FireRed where I caught this beautiful boy in the Safari zone! Last year I got a full odds Mewtwo in HeartGold, but I've never had a full odds wild encounter in Gen 3! The most stunningly BLUE Pokemon came from Fire RED and I love it.
