I think Tuuli and Becca are ties for Been Through The Worst Things in my books but Becca was innocent and Tuuli made her own terrible choices. I really want her to figure out how to live with things and be happy and trust her next moves. Which she can't/doesn't. Tough book to write.

Since I decided time passes in the books real time from when Leaving Thrushcross was written in 2019, my young people are aging. But Tuuli's like 34 now anyway. Older than them to begin with. It means I'm always like, "Wait, how old is Alex? Baxter? Uncle Steve vs Gregson? Do they hang out?"

Last night I got thinking What Next and nailed it down to: proof The Esker Road, get a complete 14-16 song album put together, write the Tuuli/Stijn book. I was FULL of ideas and developed the book a lot. But it needs a title. Also it's about grown-ups for once.

I've been studying for that exam nonstop since July and aced it, haha. I'd say apologies to everyone in vocal blast radius but almost everyone was singing.

A lot of these songs made me stick my arms in the air and scream YEAAAAAHHHH when I heard the first few notes.

One of my versions of hell is a crowd in the dark. Another is essentially a small airplane. However. Overcame. Thanks, pharmaceuticals. I'll just be decompensating (and withdrawing) for a little while here.

There were not fireworks unless I was extremely oblivious which is possible because utter bliss was warring with near leg failure, like, down she goes.

But a bunch of girls up front chanted First Time so he also played First Time which I adore. So many of my favorites, especially Unknown and Abstract and From Eden and Movement and Francesca.
