We'd only been in BC a month or so when a wildfire rained ash on our car and smogged up our apartment. Worked with the folks @northboxsystems.bsky.social (thanks to a rec from @cleanairkits.bsky.social) and got a custom air purifier together with adjustable speed fans. No more proprietary filters!

Realizing the original 8 x 80mm fan was misguided, here is the redesigned Guardian. My goal was to make the cheapest, quietest and most portable solution. Aiming for chemo patients going into hospital, it can be a great solution for any smaller space. 1/2
