New TF2 cosmetic tech - custom paint colors on a per material/team basis for every paint in the game. Currently done by inverting paint colors, but specific paint colors can be specified via additional proxies as well.

Charms will be intended to have similar restrictions to Cosmetics - 1400 tris, 2 materials, 3 lods (1400 tris, 1000, 700), vmt & qc code. I guess it depends on what the community/Valve would be interested in seeing - maybe custom animations/sequences would be fun?
