Came across this blast from the past when cleaning yesterday. Never been opened! (Which, to be fair, is how most people preferred to experience it.)

You guys don't get it. They HAD to change from HBO to Max because they didn't want to devalue the HBO brand with all the Discovery garbage. And now they HAVE to change from Max to HBO because the consumer is associating Max with garbage, and the HBO brand brings that cachet. It's 4D chess, man.

The worst part of the animation implosion is seeing the most talented artists I know struggling to make ends meet. If you're a fan of adult animation over the last 10yrs, chances are you've seen Karli's work. They've been dealt a really rough hand and could use a leg up. Please consider donating.

One time after a Boom session in 2015, I asked the always-awesome Roger Craig Smith if he’d record a quick message for my nephews to back up the lore that Uncle Alan hangs with Sonic the Hedgehog on the regular. He did it without hesitation, and man, those kids lost their minds when they heard it.

One thing that's kinda hard to explain about Los Angeles right now is the looming sense of dread we're all enduring as the fires slowly spread. Like, usually the black cloud hanging over LA is metaphorical?

To those checking in on me with the LA fires: I'm good. We're out here in North Hollywood, which is way outside of the evacuation zones. But it's been awful seeing so many friends uprooted and in some cases having their whole lives burned down.

I find it hilarious how the first South Park video games were these horrible 3D open world monstrosities, and it took them like 15 years and three gaming generations before they made a 2D sidescroller that actually looked like their show.

Apparently today is the 10th anniversary of the debut of Sonic Boom. Back then my writing partner @itsgreghahn.bsky.social and I had never worked on a "legit" show and certainly had no idea what being on a huge franchise would be like. And, when Boom came out, the reaction was pretty brutal. (1/4)
