I've also been doing work in the backyard. I got tired of not being able to use my leaf blower in the Fall due to the bark nuggets that fly everywhere (and need to be replenished every couple of years), so I started making designs (and little terraces) with gravel, river stones and bricks.

I still have lots of decorations to put out (including a sandworm!), but in the meantime I'm working on lighting. #Halloween #halloweendecorations #halloween_decorations

Tonight was great for wildlife sightings in my backyard - I saw a barn owl, a baby alligator lizard (usually I only see fence lizards, we have tons of those), but the best of all was this chill gal.
