Writing some dialog about faith and having vivid flashbacks to a CCS fic I read at least 16 years ago. It started off really cool (by young me's standards) and then halfway through Syaoran converted to Christianity and tried to "save" all the other MCs from witchcraft/magic/the powers of Satan.

I beat a malfunctioning smoke detector to death today. In completely, totally, 100% unrelated news, I can now barely hear out of my right ear, which really really hurts.

Me: I need to finish Fires of War and start on Made of Marble. Also Me: But what if I laid out a 100k Ascendance of a Bookworm fanfic?

Something I miss about the last city I lived in was the Thai food places I went to knew better than to clock me as White when I ordered spicy food. (Context: I have been given mild takeout and miss my favorite Thai food cart man. I miss his pumpkin curry so bad.)

I really hate that it takes a week to fix half a chapter layout for Fires of War and half a day to write a third of a chapter for Made of Marble.

I wanna keep rereading TMO, but I would also like to write SOMETHING this month.

I'm tired. I'm dead inside. I might need the joy of a new project to feel alive again. And I know that's the devil speaking, but god damn it, I'm in Hell and that's all the company I'll get down here.

Draft 55 of Fires of War seems to be the winner, so far. (I hope I'm not jinxing myself.)

I've been building too many castles in Sims lately, but I've also managed a few writing marathons. Hopefully I'll be able to post something soon.

My rabbit survived surgery, but it's up in the air whether or not I'll survive the bill. (i will. I'm just being dramatic.)

It's official Final Fantasy XII has killed every Playstation I have played it on.

A good metric I go by for dictionary apps on my phone is whether it not I can look up words from Final Fantasy XII in them. Any app that fails me gets the chopping block. ... Which is of course why I am currently without any app whatsoever.

When I was growing up, I knew most of Final Fantasy 12 was going over my head. I still thought it was the greatest game I'd ever played. I knew that, one day, I'd know enough to understand it. That day is apparently today. And, somehow, this game is even better than I thought???

It's almost done. The epilogue of TMO is almost done. I almost can't believe it. This means I can start posting again on Friday. It's finally happening.

After this scene I only have two chapters left to write for TMO. I can't believe this is happening...

Soon I will be off this horrid day shift and I will once more become a creature of the night, have writing time again, three day weekends, and will (hopefully) return to feeling vaguely human instead of vaguely mush. "Soon" meaning "tomorrow".

Fingers crossed that the chapter will be done by tomorrow.
