روز شانزدهم اوت ۲۰۲۵ دیوان عالی کشور ایران (شعبه‌ی ۳۹) حکم اعدام شریفه محمدی فعال کارگری، از اقلیت اتنیکی آذربایجانی، را تایید کرد؛ با وجود اینکه همین شعبه‌ی دیوان عالی پیشتر، در اکتبر ۲۰۲۴، با استناد به نواقص جدی حقوقی و مربوط به آیین‌دادرسی این حکم را نقض کرده بود.

روز ۳۱ فروردین ۱۴۰۴ زندانی سیاسی کرد، حمید حسین‌نژاد حیدرانلو اعدام شد. طبق گزارش‌هایی که دریافت کردم روند دادرسی ناقض حقوق اساسی او بوده است، از جمله عدم دسترسی کافی به وکیل و مترجم. در عین حال ادعاهای جدی‌ای منبی بر اینکه از او تحت شکنجه اعتراف گرفته شده است وجود دارد.

Kurdish political prisoner Hamid Hosseinnezhad Heidaranlou was executed on 20 April 2025. According to reports received, the trial process violated his basic rights, including access to adequate legal counsel and interpretation.
