Earlier this week I joined @abc as part of their 2024 end of year coverage to discuss the national crisis of men’s violence against women & the horrific number of women killed in 2024. 💔 In 2024, according to Counting Dead Women Australia at least 78 women were killed allegedly by men’s violence.

In 2024, the Guardian aimed to report on every woman allegedly killed by a man in the UK. This resulted in reporting on the alleged killing of 80 women. It is brilliant to see this commitment to reporting on each and every life taken. All women’s lives matter. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/ng-i...

2025 must be the year for change. Men’s violence against women and children is a global crisis. It is well beyond time that governments commit funding commensurate with the scale of the problem. Anything less will fall short. The cost will be women & children’s lives.
