A cracking Grey Phalarope on the East Hoyle bank Hoylake tonight was ace to see following the Red-necked at Spurn last week, a great find by Tim Kinch! #ukbirding

Red Kite flying over Hoylake yesterday was a surprise!! #ukbirding

A long but productive day @hilbrebirdobs.bsky.social with plenty of warblers passing through, mostly big males, a Grasshopper warbler was stunning and the locals are busy! The sea produced good numbers of Sandwich Terns a few common, Fulmar and Gannets passing #ukbirding

Nice to get a few moths in the island trap Common Quaker, Clouded Drab & Early Grey. A reasonable passage of migrant birds too with lots of Meadow pipits over & Chiffchaffs, Redpolls & Wheatears down as well as some nice wader flocks and Little gulls moving through. #Ukbirding #teammoth

A great trip to Norfolk for the annual Bird Obs Council agm and several little detours in the way & back meant we got nice birds, inc’ Tundra Bean & Lesser White fronted geese, 5 drake Smew, Common Cranes and lots of waders, wildfowl, Harriers etc!
