It's been one heck of a week: partied in Chicago and played my first show, successfully made it through my first week of teaching 6th grade, worked well over 50 hours, dropped two new tapes and a repress, somehow managed to finish an album and record a new demo... Feelin pretty cool, I guess

Dungeon synther pro-tip: rifle cases are (often) much cheaper than keyboard cases. And as it turns out, they work perfectly at securing your vintage casio.

All this lovely rain has given me a good excuse to play music all day. Picked up the guitar again for the first time since the Autumn. Hammered out a new SoH demo. Got plenty of neat plans a-brewin'.

A blessed Midsummer upon ye! And a lovely wedding anniversary to my wonderful wife. Also, Rosemary has thoroughly enjoyed a sunlit afternoon in the garden.

This first full-on day of summer break has been a delight. Read all morning, played music all afternoon and evening. Couple of real nice and leisurely dog walks in there. Looking forward to a few more months of this!

Spent the last few weekends getting the garden sorted. Finally warm enough to get the plants and seeds in the ground today! Even got a bit of help from Rosemary!

Along with the baby bunnies in the back garden (see previous post for adorableness), we also had a bird (finch, maybe?) make her nest and lay her eggs in the Yule wreath we were too late in taking down. Again... Last year's chick's didn't make it. But I do believe these younglings flew off today!

Here's a story for ya. This time last year, a young rabbit took up residence in our backyard. It's been pretty delightful to see her grow as the seasons changed. The only drawback is our dog, Rosemary, really, really likes to chase rabbits. Couple close calls. But no one was the worse for wear...
