As a Puerto Rican, I was smiling throughout the half time show. My mom, who passed away in 2024 would have loved it, right down to the wedding cake made in the style she used to bake. The music was ok, but the dancing, laughter, celebration of life and diversity of America--thats where it shined!

★★★★☆ The Gorge (2025) I enjoyed it. The premise is somewhat interesting if improbable. I like Anya Taylor-Joy and this was a good role for her. The ending was fine, although the final lines didn’t connect in any meaningful way. Call it a love story with a horror-ish vibe.

★★★☆☆ Jurassic World Rebirth Some cool new dinosaurs, but utterly predictable. My wife and I enjoyed the first half hour predicting who would die and we were on the money. There were a couple of cool nods to the original though.

★★★☆☆ Sphere by Michael Crichton 📚 What a frustrating book. The characters all grated me immensely. Even the main character. And the whole thing was much too long with a very unsatisfying ending. The narration on the audio book was good however.
