The #godot game I'm making is inspired by the games I played in middle school computer lab, like SAS: Zombie Assault 2. Those games animated their enemies by just mirroring the enemy sprite as they moved and attacked, so I'm doing the same (esp. since I have barely any animation experience).

Lizard of the day: Jayakar lizard! A species from Oman and the UAE! They're terrestrial, preferring rocky areas near water as their habitat. They're omnivorous and highly territorial. They're pretty agile in most types of terrain, which serves them well to flee from predators!

Lizard of the day: Antimena chameleon! A species from Madagascar! Males have a spiky dorsal crest and are green with yellow and/or whitish stripes, while females are fully dark green. The "nose" is larger on males than on females!

Lizard of the day: Guangxi cave gecko! A Chinese species! They're terrestrial geckos native to limestone karst regions, thriving in cool, highly humid, and shaded environments. They're nocturnal and easily recognizable due to their bright yellow stripes and dark spots.

Lizard of the day: Arboreal knob-scaled lizard! A Mexican species! They inhabit more arboreal habitats when compared to other knob-scaled lizards that live in more arid ones. They have a relatively flat body, rough skin and a brown and dark green coloration ideal for camouflage.

Lizard of the day: Madagascar day gecko! One of the cutest gecko species! They're pretty popular pets. They live on the eastern coast of Madagascar and typically inhabit rainforests and dwell on trees. They are omnivorous and can do chirping sounds.
