Before the pandemic, I told my high-school aged sons that despite global warming and everything else, the country would go on and they needed to get a good degree and prepare for the future. Then the world fell apart and Trump was re-elected. I think about that conversation often.

People don't want data centers polluting their cities. They don't want masked thugs terrorizing their neighbors. They don't want warehouses being turned into ICE prisons. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

Fat chance. Disrespect intended.
