for what we do and our level of education, educators, even new ones, should be clearing $100k/yr here in VA. I'm on my 3rd year and barely pulling in 65k. Rent is absurd and I'm paying well over $700/month for grad school and will have to pay that much for student loans after. We deserve better.

one of my biggest strengths when practicing for roller derby is my tenacity. every time I go down I get back up. I try over and over again and I show up for every practice. I do exercises outside of practice to build skills and muscles I'm weak at. I refuse to give up. I will be the best one day.
