Mike and I have made it our goal to become fluent in French… both for our upcoming Disneyland Paris trip, and to help us in our careers. And something we’ve been trying out is watching old Disney movies (that we already know inside and out) in French.

Something I’m really trying to master as a vlogger/video editor is learning to leave footage on the cutting room floor. I sometimes feel like I HAVE to include clips because… well… I took the time to film them. But sometimes less is more.

On Saturday, I had to say goodbye to Canada’s Wonderland as they took their final bow for the 2025 season. It’s always hard to go four months without being able to visit this place, but I’m so grateful for all the memories the 2025 season brought me.

I got to sing O Holy Night at my church’s Christmas Eve service tonight. I love this song so much, so it was a real treat to be able to do it, and in the moment, it felt so magical and moving.

Just wanted to send the biggest hug to everyone mourning the loss of Adam the Woo right now. I never had the pleasure of knowing him personally, but he was one of several channels that inspired me to pursue vlogging. He was a bright light in the community that will be missed.

I’ve been loving the production on TLOAS more and more with each listen. I’ve been wanting a rock album from Taylor for ages and this kind of scratches that itch. It feels kind of like Red mixed with Midnights, which is perfect given her evolution in her perspectives on love since those albums.

Just finished my first listen-through of The Life of a Showgirl! It was so good! I was expecting more of a dance pop vibe, so I was a little surprised that the production was more “cool” and “suave”, but it worked. And danggg Taylor got SPICY on this one 😅

One of my new favourite ways to use ChatGPT is to ask it for music recommendations. I’ve used to it to find songs for my National Indigenous Day post (and found artists I still listen to), and most recently, I used it to find French music that fits in with my usual vibe.

Doing some early honeymoon planning! We’re thinking about exploring around Paris for a few days and then doing a few days at Europa Park. If anyone has any travel agent recommendations, we’d love to hear it! Bonus points if they’re based in Canada.

Méga Parc is such a cute little place! This indoor amusement park is located at the Galeries de la Capitale mall in Québec City, and we had so much fun here! The steampunk theme created a very charming atmosphere - and oh my god - Electro (the Mack Family Ontario) is such a vibe!

Went to La Ronde for the first time!Although ops definitely could’ve been better, I actually had a really great day here. Goliath was by far my favourite ride of the day, but Le Vampire was a close second - it was so fast and intense!

Y’all. I fucking love Québec. We just passed a restaurant called «La Belle et La Bœuf»… for my non francophone followers, that’s “Beauty and the Beef” 🤣

Our last stop in Ottawa was FunHaven, a small FEC with an SBF Visa spinner called Crazy 8! As a credit whore, I had to make the stop. But we also got to ride some cool simulators and play some arcade games while we were here.

Stop #2 was Calypso - one of Canada’s biggest and best waterparks located just outside of the nation’s capital. Here, I got to try my first Aqua Loop water slide - wish was as fun and terrifying as I expected - on top of a bunch of other fun water slides and attractions.

Stop One of my road trip was Ontario’s most iconic roadside attraction, THE BIG APPLE! This place is awesome, featuring a bakery, gift shop, petting zoo, mini putt, and even an observation at the top of the Apple!
