Dad died August this year. Brightest morning star I had ever seen was out. If I was to believe it would be in this. I wrote a poem prior to his death regarding the inevitable, the wind down, in which he is a metaphorical star. Sounds corny, but it's prob my best received poem. 👇 Morn Moon. Hi Dad!

Today's offering

I witnessed a crow (rook) bouncing a tennis ball on the path through the grass in the park today. I didn't take a video becasue I was too busy trying to figure out if the crow was actually playing of trying to break maybe a shell for food. I conluded the crow was playing with the ball.

For reasons I won't go into (neighbours), today I changed the location of food for the birds big and small, closer to the woods at back. They thought it was a trap I think. How could they? 😳 Anyway, shifted the delights to usual place and not a crumb left. I can't figure why they thought it a trap?

Today, a man I talk to from around the place (in his eighties, fascinating story teller) remembered a chat, pulled a folded newspaper page from his pocket. An upmarket dating site, still, his intentions were sound. An improbable sky, yet.....
