There's something joyful about filling the pages of my sketchbook. I love experimenting with colors and ideas. It allows me to express myself freely. Every page is like a tiny universe.

I created this artwork 5 years ago. The concept was inspired by the graphic novel style, featuring divided spaces. It narrates a story, yet it doesn't resemble a comic. It was made using colored pencils. I think I should be capable of working with paint now.

"Pumpkin Popper" is an illustration that blends the classic imagery of a jack-o'-lantern with a whimsical twist, bringing a playful spirit.

This character was created three years ago, and I came across it while browsing through my Procreate library. At the time, I thought I sucked this for some reason. Looking at it now, though, it seems solid to me. Maybe there’s a chance for me to explore a future in character design?

When crafting a composition, create the balance of negative and positive space while guiding the viewer's gaze across the canvas. Even the simplest visuals can become a sense of depth and intrigue. I hope I can draw backgrounds next time too

Last week in my sketchbook - I've been focused on developing for illustrating backgrounds, and I'm glad to see my progress unfold.

I'm very excited to be working on a new idea with @sayuri.stabrowski inspired by this little witch I created last fall for @redfoxliterary promo

First I only used the colored pencils. It's mystery how I was able to paint the stuff with the paint brush. The creative process is adventure, and even if it's not a direct practice, it improves your overall skills. So it feels like one day you suddenly find the way

For creating characters, I portray their personality and story through their physical features and gestures. The main character is a shy girl, but she becomes more active and confident later. I used different skin tones, facial expressions, and poses. The grandmother is a strong, independent woman.

I made a reel of the sketchbook process. It's a very simple editing work, and I made it just to try it out, but it turned out good. I've made two reels so far, and I think I might actually enjoy making reels. Next time, I'd like to learn a little more about how to film.

Sketch book tour - These were drawn over a year ago, and I think they have changed compared to my current sketchbook. Now I enjoy creating designs that use a lot of shapes and lines on the pages

#100dayproject -Day 22-28. It’s almost 1/3 of 100 days art challenge. I’ve never continued any art challenges so long before. But It’s not discipline more like developing the habit. Starting next month #pleinairpril will start. A month long landscape art challenge would be cool to join.

Spring is my favorite season. I’m often sad that it goes so fast and wish to continue for 8 months. I want to see and smell the sweet blooming flowers all the time. But without cold and harsh winter, spring won’t exist. It’s a circle of season. #spring #illustration #collageillustration
