Amazed and touched that my essay, "Blood Ties,” was included in this lineup with such fantastic company.

Move the setting from D.C. to Leopoldstadt, replace "migrants and refugees" with Jews and communists, and EVERYTHING about this reads like a cribbed passage from Mein Kampf.

History will not look kindly on either the current Democratic leadership or university administrators. The word is "appeasement." Just say it.

Lesson learned. The mild suggestion that Trump's anti-DEI edicts are an excuse for liberal arts colleges and universities to hire more mediocre white men DOES NOT go down well with the mediocre white men on X!!! 😀
