Never forget that protesting, boycotting, moving and raising your voice are all privileges. There are people who lack the physical ability, health, finances or safety to participate in these forms of resistance. Don’t shame them, find ways to include them. Don’t judge them, fight for them.

you may not have funds to give every time but the least you can do is use this platform you have, however big or small, to push their need out to someone who might have the means and the kindness to donate or meet the need. what harm does it really bring you just to help?

reminder ya'll everything about the big beautiful bill passing is going to mean you're going to see even more people with mutual aid and community care requests and i know it's easy to get fatigued but we have to push back on that and have empathy for the people we share this internet space with.

my view is that everyone should be able to earn a living wage doing whatever it is they like. if you love working in a bookshop, you should be able to live a comfortable life doing so. if you loving being a barista, the same. and if you want to do more traditional blue collar work, that’s cool too!
