Same problem that Nouvelle Vague has. Why would I want to watch a narrative fiction film about the making of a film that actually exists instead of just watching the actual film?

There really are few films that I enjoy watching more than THE MASTER (2012). I also think it's a masterpiece (which some people disagree with) but it's just so watchable. It's stunningly beautiful, has three titanic performances, the whole runtime is equally strong, and it generates so much thought

I still need to catch up on a bunch of the foreign films that I missed in theaters but right now I have One Battle 5th on my best picture list for 2025. It's by a large margin the Least PTA of all PTA movies which bugged me a bit but seems to be the reason it has such crossover appeal and will win.
