A fun time at the Twig Book Shop Story Time with IF I WERE A PARK RANGER today! A HUGE thanks to Park Ranger Sanya who stopped by to talk about being a park ranger & the Junior Ranger Program. Families helped create a thank you card, and kids decorated junior ranger vests & hats, too.

This month, I'll be guest author at the GRAND CANYON...and at two great San Antonio book shops, too! Can't wait to meet other National Park fans!

Washington D.C.’s The National Archives – and IF I RAN FOR PRESIDENT! My cousin spotted my book in the National Archives Museum in a kids’ “Book Nook” area in a room right behind the display of the original Declaration of Independence. Holy cow! Amazed & didn’t know till my cousin shared.

Congrats to my friend Carolyn Leiloglou, invited to talk about her amazing art-themed chapter book series – available in the museum’s shop – at the McNay art museum’s 2nd Thursday event. A band, food trucks, picnicking on the grounds & free entrance to the museum that night, too. Such a fun event!
