Been playing an unhealthy amount of Romancing SaGa 2 this week and I’m shocked more people don’t talk about this. Probably one of the better JRPGs I’ve played in a while, and it’s so damn cosy!

Man, watching the Until Dawn movie has solidified that @ponysmasher.social is quickly becoming one of my favourite horror directors. It’s a 100-minute ghost ride, which embraces and shows love for the horror genre with gooey effects, great creature design, and a sprinkle of humour.

In an industry that is filled with toxicity and unnecessary hate, last night’s PlayStation Concert was a reminder that video games are cool and some people just love playing them.

One of the weird things I always see surround film, games, TV, etc, is that people LOVE it when something fails. Bad reviews, bombed at the box office, team behind the project let go - it all fills people with some weird glee that I can’t understand.

Constantly floored at how gorgeous Dragon Age: The Veilguard is. Really don’t understand the bad wrap this game got. Easily one of the best RPGs to release last year.

Replaying The Last of Us Part II and the weapon upgrade animations are still extremely satisfying.

Can’t believe it’s the 30th anniversary for this absolute gem this year.

Only three days into 2025 and I’ve signed up to the gym with an induction booked in, and got my first therapy appointment arranged. Determined to make this year a much more positive experience than last.

Woke up and already seen about three “worst film/games” lists of 2024. Can we not do this? What does it serve? It never feels constructive and instead just a chance to dunk on something which has already had its fair share of criticism, which we see all year anyway.

No game will ever match the vibes of Dragon Quest.

Don’t think I’ll fit in another game by the end of year, so here’s my top 12 for 2024. Been another incredible year for gaming and can’t wait for another in 2025! 🎮

Happy to say I’ll be going into the Christmas break with a sparking new promotion to Senior Account Executive! It’s been an awful year but I’m determined to make 2025 the biggest and best yet, and this is a lovely win to start the new year with a bang. 🥳

Finally platinumed Star Wars Outlaws and loved it. One of the most underrated games of the year. Immediately jumped into Nine Sols after and the first frame of this game goes HARD.
