Tell Mastercard and Visa about this. When you call tell them you're going to petition your bank to switch. Doesn't matter how much you think they would. It happened.

Funny story: my bank recently sent out an emergency notification letter, which stated they were sending me a new debit card, because they had changed vendors. The old card was a MasterCard. The new one arrived - it’s Discover. Looks like even banks are noping out of MasterCard’s madness.

See if you come for people's anime, TTRPGs, and video games (among several things), that's bad business and folks will definitely not want anything to do with you. I hope Mastercard feels the weight of those bad business decisions. Let 'em know y'all. 🙅‍♀️
