June 20, 1992 (Saturday) - SAILOR MOON airs episode 15, "Usagi's Panic: Rei's First Date", known in America as "An Unnatural Phenomena", which initially appears to be about a park ranger being possessed by a malevolent forest spirit but is actually about how Sailor Mars is going to date Tuxedo Mask.

Airing Saturday (6/20/92), the second episode of S4 of TALES FROM THE CRYPT, "This'll Kill Ya!". The first work directed by the artist Robert Longo (future of JOHNNY MNEMONIC); Dylan McDermott stars as an abusive scientist who is injected with a deadly virus by his subordinates.

This show is extremely "TWIN PEAKS season 2"-coded, to the point that I'm kinda stunned that there hasn't been some sort of large-scale reclamation or discussion of it with all the PEAKS revivals. I was definitely expecting it to be more of a departure from that tone for how deeply obscure it is.
