I’ve been in a bad mood lately, and I suspect it has a lot to do with going back to work and wasting 8hrs a day staring at a computer screen. It really sucks the joy out of life.

Louisiana governor passed law giving aid to people that drive into protestors. Nextdoor App is horrifying. So many of my neighbors salivating to test the new law. A surprising number of women, who wouldn’t even have a voice, checking account, or credit card without such protests. What hell is this?

I will be in a bad mood until further notice.

Hegseth sure was overly emotional with his outburst about how we need state media, like imagine what they’d say if a woman acted that way in front of the press at the Pentagon. What a rube.

Watering the garden is second to oil painting on my list of most meditative, relaxing, and introspective things to do. Sometimes I have to stop and stare at a flower for a while and think about their importance to my life. All life.

It amazes me the number of people here on #Bluesky that champion environmental preservation and also go and generate AI images and video, knowing that each interaction is an energy drain and water consuming operation that puts money into an oligarchs pocket.
